E-waste is defined as electric and electronic equipment which is dependent on electric currents or electromagnetic fields to be fully functional. The city has specialized collectors for this waste and is also collected along with Dry Waste.
It includes the following streams of waste:
• Batteries
• CDs/Tapes
• Thermometers
• Bulbs/tube lights/CFLs
• Monitors, TV screens, etc.
